Mode of Action

• Assert, after its application absorbed by foliage and translocated to meristematic region of leaf and stem through phloem
• It inhibits plant enzyme Aceto Lactate Synthase (ALS), which is essential for synthesis of branched chain amino acids and ultimately leading to inhibition of cell diivision in target weeds leading to plant death.
