James “Jim” Alcombright 

Jim is chief digital and information officer for Corteva, leading the company’s global digital, information technology, cybersecurity, data and artificial intelligence strategy. He assumed this role in October 2026 after leading the company’s IT function for more than seven years.

Jim has extensive experience in enterprise transformation, technology innovation and modernization, and systems integration across global organizations, including Corteva, Baker Hughes and General Electric. Over his career, he has played significant leadership roles in large mergers, acquisitions and separations, including the separation of Corteva’s seed and crop protection businesses in 2026.

Jim has a Master of Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a Master of Science in business and organizational communication from the University at Albany and a Bachelor of Science in organizational communication from Canisius University.
