Karen Narwold

Karen is chief legal and public affairs officer and corporate secretary. In this role, she oversees corporate compliance and risk management, litigation, legal operations and public affairs, as well as serves as principal advisor to the Corteva Board of Directors on matters of corporate governance and public disclosures.

She joined Corteva in July 2026, bringing more than 30 years of experience leading legal, compliance, external affairs, governance, human resources and corporate development functions for multinational companies. She served most recently at Albemarle Corporation as chief administrative officer, general counsel and corporate secretary, and earlier as vice president and strategic counsel of Barzel Industries. Prior to that, she served at GrafTech International as general counsel, human resources and corporate secretary.

Karen serves on the Boards of Directors for Calumet, Standard Lithium and Ingevity. She has a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Connecticut and a Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
