Chief Technology Officer
Reza leads Corteva's global research & development organization and innovation strategy, overseeing the company's end-to-end innovation engine spanning discovery, development, and product safety and stewardship. He also champions Corteva Catalyst™, a platform for external innovation investments and strategic partnerships.
Reza has served in a series of leadership roles across Corteva's regulatory, stewardship, sustainability and scientific organizations – most recently serving as vice president, regulatory and stewardship and R&D sustainability. Earlier, he led the global Crop Protection and North America regulatory organizations and founded the company's Predictive Safety Center, which is focused on designing products with favorable environmental and human health profiles.
He serves on the board of directors of Pairwise and holds advisory and leadership roles with the National Academy of Sciences and the Society of Toxicology. He has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and contributed extensively to research in toxicology, molecular biology, and product safety assessment.
Reza earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut and a Ph.D. in pathobiology from Brown University.
