Corteva Agriscience began operations in Salinas in 1987.

Over the years, our operations in Salinas and Aibonito have expanded. We now grow corn, soybeans, sorghum, and cotton seeds, to discover and develop sustainable solutions that will help producers grow successfully, now and in the future.

The parental seeds grown at our sites are sent to the United States and then distributed to Corteva Agriscience field stations all over the world.
