Corteva Crop Protection is pleased to announce the official registration of Closer® 240 SC (Isoclast Active) Reg. No. L9694 for the control of Macadamia Felted Coccid (Eriococcus ironsidei) (MFC) – in South Africa.
What to look out for:
Feeding damage causes leaf malformation and discoloration, die-back of large portions of trees, flower drop and subsequent reductions in nut production. The good news: As the dispersal rates of the pest are very low, the pest can be controlled by quarantining the infested area and treating the affected trees with Closer® 240 SC (Isoclast Active)
