Our Definition

We define diversity as the features that make us who we are – seen and unseen. It’s the broad range of attributes, experiences, and characteristics – such as race, gender, cultural heritage, sexual orientation, physical/mental ability, age, or national origin, which are only a few dimensions of an individual’s diversity – that make us uniquely who we are.

Inclusion means creating a work environment where each person has the opportunity to participate fully to achieve our purpose and embrace our values. Inclusion is interacting with people who are different from us, in ways that make them feel valued and included. It is a set of behaviors that encourages employees to feel valued for their unique qualities and fosters a sense of belonging.

Driving Success

Corteva Agriscience believes an inclusive workplace that welcomes new ideas and appreciates valuable experiences drives innovation and success. We strive to ensure our workforce reflects the diverse locations in which we do business. We pledge every good faith effort to achieve our established goals and have assigned various levels of responsibility to both direct and oversee our affirmative action efforts. It is important to remember that fostering diversity is not only about the numbers. Although the we are responsible for monitoring and implementing our affirmative action and equal opportunity policies, our responsibility goes beyond compliance. It is more about creating a culture of inclusive where every employee can bring their “whole-self” to work and feel heard, valued, included and empowered to contribute fully every day.

Breaking Down Barriers

Around the world, our people are working with customers and the community to help make agriculture as diverse as the communities it serves.

Business Resource Groups (BRGs)

We operate as one Corteva to build an engaged, unified workforce. WE are committed to offering programs such as networking, mentoring, skill building, and other support for our employees. We also deliver powerful programs that connect co-workers in meaningful ways, including career, culture, and community outreach. Our Business Resource Groups (BRGs) peers to connect in meaningful ways. BRGs are market-facing groups that raise employee engagement and strengthen the leadership talent pipeline.

Globally, we also have active groups across all regions, but some are more formalized such as in Brazil, with six (6) active groups.

Membership for BRGs is open to any employee (you need not be a member of the affiliate group to join) and any employee can join and become a member of one or all BRGs.
