Pioneer® Brand 11CFT

Inoculants

Pioneer brand 11CFT is a patented inoculant for maize silage with unique fibre technology:

 

  • •  Reduces dry matter losses by rapidly lowering pH
  • •  Contains a novel strain of enzyme producing Lactobacillus buchneri to improve fibre digestibility
  • •  Significantly reduces aerobic losses at feedout
  • •  Reduces shrink and improves aerobic stability of the silage face
  • •  Excellent choice for high production animals fed high levels of forage
  • •  Allows reduction in concentrate and protein

 

11CFT is an ideal choice for treating maize silages that will be incorporated into high production dairy and beef feeding systems.

Unique fibre technology:

The unique Lactobacillus buchneri strain in 11CFT boosts fibre digestibility by around 4% by releasing fibre from the lignin structure. While lignin itself remains unchanged, this process makes fibre more accessible to rumen bacteria, improving digestion.
