Surveillance for soybean fields

Surveil® herbicide offers soybean farmers the convenience of having two powerful active ingredients — flumioxazin and cloransulam-methyl — together in one easy-to-use premix. The premix offers easy mixing and handling characteristics and proven weed control that farmers can count on to battle resistant and hard-to-control broadleaf weeds. Surveil can be applied from preplant up to three days after planting, before emergence.

Easy to mix, easy to use

Surveil^® herbicide offers the convenience of having two powerful active ingredients — flumioxazin and cloransulam-methyl — together in one easy-to-use premix. Cloransulam-methyl gives Surveil strong residual power, providing exceptional preemergence weed control.

Better coverage and control

The stand-alone premix formulation dissolves quicker than the competition when added to water. That means better coverage and more effective control of even the sneakiest herbicide-resistant weeds. Apply preplant or three days after planting, before soybeans emerge.

Rotational flexibility

Surveil provides a nine-month plant-back rotation to cotton, dry beans, rice or sorghum, so there’s the option to plant high-value crops next season, even if a soybean crop got in late this year.

No soil pH restrictions

Unlike other preemergence herbicides, Surveil has no pH restrictions, so you can use it at various rates and across a range of field conditions without worrying about carryover to next year’s crop.

WEEDS DISAPPEAR, WITHOUT A TRACE.

Those sly, herbicide-resistant weeds can’t escape the all-seeing eye of Surveil^® herbicide. With two nonglyphosate modes of action, Surveil takes out resistant weeds along with a wide range of other broadleaves.

An erect summer annual that may reach 6.5 feet in height. Seedlings have leaves that are narrow and green to reddish in color. Its first true leaves are alternate, oval-shaped and slightly notched at the tip of the leaf. Mature leaves are alternate, without hairs, and lance- or egg-shaped in outline.

Velvetleaf is very aptly named because the large leaves have velvety hair. It is an erect summer annual with leaves and stems that are covered with short, soft hairs. Seedlings have one round and one heart-shaped cotyledon. The leaves are alternate, heart-shaped and covered with hairs on both surfaces.

Common lambsquarters is a summer annual with medium to pale green stems with red stripes. Stems tend to be multibranched, growing 1 to 6 feet tall. Leaves are shaped like a goose foot, often with a whitish powdery coating.

A summer annual twining or climbing vine with distinctive three-lobed leaves and large showy purple, blue or white flowers. Leaves, stems and fruit can be somewhat hairy. It produces burlike seedpods.

Giant ragweed is a summer annual that can grow up to 16 feet tall. Its leaves are large and distinctively three-lobed, but they can sometimes be five-lobed. Opposite leaves occur in pairs at nodes. It prefers moist soil.

Marestail is an erect winter or summer annual reaching 6.5 feet in height. Seedlings develop a basal rosette from which sprouts a 2- to 6-foot-tall stalk covered with narrow leaves. At the top of the stalk are small white flowers that ripen to white, windblown parachute seeds.
