As we strive to improve farmers’ ability to meet global demand for nutritious, sustainably-produced food, our most important responsibility is ensuring our products’ safety – for humans, animals, and the environment.
Our crop protection and agricultural biotechnology products enable farmers to improve their crop performance and address the challenges posed by weather, pests, weeds, and disease. Because of the role crop protection products play in protecting plants and crops from pests and other harmful organisms, they are sometimes referred to as pesticides or agricultural chemicals.
We support industry and regulator efforts to promote greater transparency by making available scientific assessments, safety studies, and related information submitted to European regulators. EU submissions made by Corteva for our crop protection and agricultural biotechnology products, in 2021 and beyond, will be listed here. Related documentation for each submission will be accessible via the European Food Safety Authority, consistent with EU Regulation 2019/1381.
