If we cannot share information, we will explain why and seek to satisfy the interest in another way.

We will present information that is clear, accurate, and relevant for internal and external stakeholders — including those whose interests are not aligned with ours. We will listen to understand and encourage feedback.

And we will take responsibility for all organizational actions and results, even on controversial issues.

When outcomes are undesirable, we will disclose what we have done, or will do, to address the situation.

Responsible Gene Editing

We fully support the Coalition for Responsible Gene Editing in Agriculture as an Endorser of the Principles of the Coalition and a Participant in the Framework to cultivate support for the responsible use of gene editing in agriculture through the development and adoption of trust-worthy guidelines for the responsible use of gene editing, effective stakeholder outreach and engagement, and broad-based involvement and collaboration of those engaged in gene editing.
